If people purchase this microwave just to let you know that when I first received it. I set it up and tried it. I was pretty surprised it did not work. The light came on but the table was not moving and it did not work. I was about ready to ship it back. I called customer service at LG. Found out that you need to slam the door shut as it has a tight seal I guess. In any case that is all it took and now I am thoroughly enjoying my new microwave. I don't really have to slam it shut anymore I guess it was just initial use. I love the soften and melt buttons I can soften my butter or cream cheese without melting. I also love the ez button which is a one touch add a minute although it is more like seconds and minutes. The express defrost is unreal. It literally defrosts in a couple of minutes. You need to be careful of the weight as it will start to cook. It is solid, well built and very large inside. I guess the only real negative which is not an issue is the popcorn button only cooks large bags not the mini ones. Tried it and had burnt popcorn so on the small one I use the ez button pushed 3 times for a minute 30 seconds seems to work pretty good maybe a couple of burnt ones but not bad. Although it is on the high end of counter top microwaves I believe it is well worth the investment so far. I think it is hard to find a microwave at the lower end that does everything this one does. I have also used the reheat button which works great. Be ware of the size. We had some issues finding a stand big enough as it is deep. Most of the stands I saw where 15-17 inches this unit is 19 1/2 inches. I found a kitchen cart at Walmart that works great and also has room to store stuff.
We are very much enjoying our new LG microwave. It is huge on the inside and lots of great features. Our favorite is the butter softener feature. Push a button to either melt or soften the butter! Like I said...Love it! And we are still learning about all the fun things it can do. Also very quiet! Highly recommended!
Truecook here is worthless as I cannot find a code on any frozen foods. I do not use the defrosts, but the Quick Touch potato button cooks a nicely done potato, but frozen veggies are cold. The soften/melt butter is not worth using. Autocook is worthless. It would be nice if LG could focus more on quality of materials and putting usable functions on the microwaves.
Received my LG Microwave right on schedule. It fit into my built in space very nicely - which is the main reason I chose this microwave. Replaced a GE Profile which quite working. Very easy to operate. I especially like the EZ On button. Very quickly heats things up. Would prefer a white interior, but can see the item cooking okay. Works fine.
As an aside, I offered the big box store the chance to do another exchange instead of a refund if they would provide a discount for the trouble, but they declined. I am more than happy to purchase a different model off of Amazon.

Sorry,, won't buy another LG small appliance. The countertop microwave is two years old and quit working. Just quit. There is no method of fixing it.
